Report: Iraqis from all the communities answer commanding Sayed Al-Sadr calling to demonstrate at the Turkish embassy
A Millionic demonstration has been launched today at the Turkish embassy in Baghdad to protest the Turkish forces incursion into the depth of Iraqi territories, and to invite Ankara, to withdraw its forces urgently, while confirming, that it should not fuel its tension with Baghdad,after a calling made by the commanding SayedMuqtada Al-Sadr to the Iraqis to protest the incursion and support the Iraqi army in the battle to liberate Mosul city.
Thousands of Iraqis from different communities participated in the demonstrations, declaring their absolute refusal to the Turkish presences in Iraq, and any other presence.
Turkish embassy was on a date this morning with thousands of arrivals, who were carried by the anger of the Turkish trespassing on Iraq sovereignty, who choose to stand with the country, as it faces challenges from the most ruthless criminals and corrupt, as they speak out their words in loud and during the day before the eyes and ears of Ankara Representatives in Iraq.
The demonstrators carried signs calling for the Turkish withdrawal of its military forces urgently, and restrain from leading their country into a fight they don’t need, while repeating shouts condemns the Turkish incursion deep into the areas octet to Nineveh Province.
Ali Al-Rikabi, a 26 years old demonstrator said, "we are here today at the embassy, to tell Turkey, not to take advantage of the situation Iraq is going through with the war against the terrorist organizations, as we will soon end terrorism and there will be no loser but Ankara, which will lose a neighbor with a lot of common interest ties on many levels".
Al-Rikabi adding while holding the Iraqi flag in hand, "the demonstration come to inform those who sit on the seat of power in Turkey, in a peaceful way, and only through demonstrations, on orders of the commanding SayedMuqtada Al-Sadr, and if the calling came in another way, we wouldn’t be here, but where the Turkish forces is".
Lawyer Ahmad Al-Yassari, stressed "this demonstration today is a pure Iraqi voice, not moved by any internal of external forces, It is the most honest expression of the patriotic sense, that refuses harm to the country sovereignty", adding "the active participation in this demonstration, has proved the solidity of the Iraqi line against the challenges, and its readiness to defend it both morally and physically".
Al-Yassari points out, "The huge numbers of people who came to the Turkish embassy today, reveals the bright face of the country, which some parts is trying to conceal, and show another untrue face, filled with sectarian hate", adding "Iraqis of Muslims and non-Muslims and from all the Islamic and non-Islamic parts, came here for the same reason, which is demanding Turkey to withdraw from Iraqi territories, and show some good neighboring morals".
Ankara has refused earlier the withdrawal of its military forces from the Iraqi territories for more than once, despite the governmental and publican demands to end the unwelcomed presence.
Commanding SayedMuqtada Al-Sadr, on the recent development and the Turkish persistence, called the postponing of the planned demonstrations at the "seaa" court in midtown Baghdad, and divert it to the Turkish embassy, to demand the withdrawal of its military forces, in time with the ongoing military operation declared by the Iraqi government to liberate Mosul.
